Developing a love for dance and a passion for the arts at a young age led Jamie Gray Simon to a career working in the School of Performing Arts, an extension of Youth With A Mission, based in Tyler, Texas.  There she studied and taught art forms such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, mime, acting, and playwriting.  After returning to her native Nashville, she discovered a passion for the art and sport of ballroom dancing and has spent the last five years training, teaching, competing and choreographing in the areas of ballroom, Latin, swing, salsa, and country. 

Jaimee has studied dance in Russia under Bolshoi Ballerina, Larissa Barissimova, and in the U.S. under various National Ballroom Champions.  She has also had the opportunity to receive choreography and training from many more award-winning ballroom, Latin, and swing dancers and New York choreographers.  Jaimee's favorite dances and specialties include West Coast Swing, American Smooth and Country Western dance.

Jaimee and her professional dance partner travel the United States teaching, performing, and competing.  Jaimee is available for private lessons, group classes, and choreography at Dance World and has enjoyed being a member of the Dance World family since 2002.
